Is an actor making his directorial debut with “Que vamos a hacer con Pacheco?”. He is a graduate of Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where he played Victor Aufthausen in "Lizards ..." and Steve Heidebrecht in "August: Osage County". He currently plays Yunior in "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao", Sempronio in "La Celestina", and four characters in "Filomena Marturano: Marriage Caribbean Style" all in Spanish Repertory Theatre (Repertorio Español). Mario is a 2020 Nominee for The Association of Latin Entertainment Critics of New York (ACE) awards and Independent Theater Artists (ATI) Awards. He currently hosts “Acceso Total” on Telemundo 47 and is an acting instructor for youth through Iconos Kids in the Bronx. Instagram: @mariopeguero

s an author, communication strategist, director, and emerging playwright with the debut of “Que vamos a hacer con Pacheco?”. Recognized for leadership in social and political activism in his native country, Dominican Republic, he studied for three years to obtain a law degree. He later abandoned legal studies to devote himself to the study of what he considers his greatest passion - storytelling. His love of storytelling is expressed through many avenues, including film direction for documentaries such as Naiboa (2012), and short films such as Perejil (VICIO FILMS - 2018) as well as authorship of novel Sambá (Ediciones Cielonaranja, 2015).
