BODA AT CASABE
Boda at Casabe is a short Film with the seniors from Casabe Senior Center as a result of an acting workshop. The story was written based on their live.
This production was made under Beautiful Angel Productions as we finished walking the steps to formalize our new organization, Barrio Independent Productions (BIP).
The senior prom
Participants from five Acacia senior centers in three different boroughs go through their past experiences of when they went to school remembering and wishing to have a senior prom again. Despite coming from different cities and countries and living in different places, their lives go through the same places and feelings as if they were parallel lives. The story was written based on their live.
